Did lots of research before booking this tour and was so pleased I chose Travel Around Jamaica Tours. Andrea was very professional and always communicated right away. Arrived with my Mom & Dad by cruise ship, having never been to Jamaica before & not sure what to expect as the cruise ship staff had said some scary stuff & you receive lots of warnings, which couldn't be further from the truth.
When we came off the boat we weren't sure how to find our driver or vehicle, but everyone was super helpful and friendly. Junior picked us up & took us to meet our driver, Shaggy & then we were on our way.
Shaggy was full of knowledge about everything, kept us entertained, was an exceptional driver & wonderful guide.
The trip to Nine Mile is a long trip, but it was truly a great way to see Jamaica and such an awesome experience because at Nine Mile, Bob Marley stills lives on in spirit.
Once back in Mobay Shaggy took us to an awesome place for jerk chicken and pork lunch before dropping us back at the cruise ship.
Would highly recommend Travel Around Jamaica Tours. They provided the best value for the money, very professional & everything was thoroughly enjoyable & easy. Also, don't believe what anyone says about Jamaica & make the effort to get out & explore. Everything & everyone was beautiful.

Love Jamaica!! Forget the unsafe horror stories. The nicest laid back people on the planet.
Nice air conditioned van just for us!
Ronnie took my family to Marley’s birth place on our cruise ship stop. We left at 10am and got back to port just before 4. He showed us some of the real culture away from the tourist along the way stopping at a roadside bar, teaching us the native language and how to interact to get our needs met!
He was a great / fast driver on the narrow whindy roads. I would have lost it (control issues) if he went really slow.
It was hard to find the Independent Tours section at the pier (far right parking lot by the gate) it’s not where all the buses are even though that section wasn’t full.

We hired a private driver called Philip and he was a great guide. We negotiated a price which was reasonable compared to the large tours. And you are employing a local rather than the money going to the owners of the resort.
