This 18-hole, 6836-yard, par 71 course, designed by Ralph Plummer, has been rated ‘among the most beautiful golf courses in the world.” This tricky, wind-swept course offers stunning views, unique natural hazards and challenging greens. With the front nine holes bordering the Caribbean Sea and the back nine winding through verdant hillsides, Tryall offers stunning diverse topography (Tryall Club). This golf course has hosted prestigious international events as the Johnnie Walker World Championship, won by Fred Couples in 1995.
Over the years, the course has evolved – and improved. In 1992, The Tryall Club acquired property to build today’s stunning 4th hole, which hugs the shoreline and adds a challenging seaside green to the course. In the early 2000s, Tryall rebuilt all 18 greens and added more modern irrigation, providing more consistent and higher quality playing conditions.
